Teaching is what I love to do. I get to bring everything from my performance background and implement those skills in learning environments.
From K-12 to college students and community members I love the entire process of introducing new concepts, then assisting students of all ages to retain and apply what they have learned.

I write about Black people - mostly Black women and/or Black performance. You can find some of my academic writing projects in the CV below.
For me being a scholar means always learning while also being an expert. I am constantly examining and giving my critical insight in conversation with other scholars and academics. This includes our historic thinkers as well as new contributions and fresh scholarship.
